Brief Project Description: The overall project is the development of a complex tuner IC for in the Car Radio environment. Digital data from this tuner has to be sent to a baseband IC via a serial link. From that serial link we make the transmitter. The receiver is at the baseband IC. The serial link has to be compliant with the JESD204B standard and will run at a speed of 2.4 Gbps. Crucial for the implementation is to minimize the interference with the very sensitive tuner. Responsibilities: - Verifying analog functionality and analog performance of a mixed-signal circuit using AMS simulation. - Creating single mixed-signal testbench (that uses AMS) together with digital verification engineer. - Maintaining an automated regression of test cases. - Writing the verification plan. - Reporting progress to the project lead, and results to the design lead and analog designers. - Working with designers to resolve bugs in the design.
Profiel:
Skills: - At least Bachelor''s degree in electrical engineering. > 5 years - Experience in analog verification and/or design. > 5 years - Experience in using analog/mixed-signal simulation environments. > 5 years - Proven experience in using Cadence tools: Knowledge of Virtuoso, Spectre, Incisive and Verilog-AMS are a must. > 5 years Sector know-how: Semiconductor/ IC Design Additional requirements: Aim to start end of August but earlier start is possible.
