For several of our clients, in the region of Rotterdam, who are well known in the on- and offshore and Mechanical Engineering, we are looking for a Contract Engineer / Manager.

Negotiate the terms and conditions with the clients
Prepare master service agreements and other subcontracts
Inform internal clients about selected third parties and give guidance as required
Manage and monitor contract administration and review subcontractors’ invoices
Keep track on insurances has in place and advice the Vessel Manager when contract requirements will not be in compliance with placed insurance
Provide legal/contractual support to the Project Manager during the project(s)
Follow up and settle subcontractor claims and / or disputes
Review and evaluate the services performed by the subcontractors
Liaise with those necessary to comply with this job description

Minimum Bachelor level of education (Business Administration / Mechanical / Civil)
Minimum of 5 years experience with contracting within a technical environment
Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both written and spoken
Accurate and structured
Team player
Frequent travel abroad is required
Knowledge of ERP systems
