Your new company
Our client is a multinational company in the FMCG industry. They are active in multiple industries and over the years they have shown impressive growth. To support their strategy and continue their growing business they are looking to recruit a Corporate Development M&A Manager in Amsterdam with an EngineeringProduction background to join their global strategy department.
Your new role
As Corporate Development M&A manager you will be responsible for defining global Production, Planning and Logistics Strategies. You actively contribute to the development of the supply chain footprint according to long term strategies and targets. A big part of your responsibilities is identifying and evaluating business for potential acquisition or strategic partnership. You have a wide variety of tasks from; being physically on location to assess plants and processes to collaborating on the development of business plants for merger and acquisition opportunities. During your visits you will be accompanied by a financial counterpart. You manage complex tasks and projects across the entire end-to-end supply chain process landscape . You will work in a challenging international and dynamic environment with the country organizations, productions sites and central HQ functions. You report directly to the Head of the Strategy and M&A business unit.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate has a University degree in manufacturing, engineering or finance and relevant working experience in a Manufacturing, Engineering or Production environment. You have at least 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Strategy, Planning or Operations Controlling. You have strong communication skills and are able to work with international and cross cultural teams and disciplines. You have excellent analytical abilities with strength in conception and an international mindset. You have a fluent proficiency in English and functional knowledge of MS Project. International travel is up to 20%.
