Maintain expert level PE knowledge • Stay up-to-date with state-of-the-art PE methods and practices (internal and external) • Expert knowledge on existing tools, both proprietary and commercial (e.g. DataPower. SiliconDash (Qualtera) and DOTTS) • Active communication with factories, both internal and external (in close collaboration with GEM and their ‘3PF account managers’) 3. Capture learnings and deploy on NXP level • Deploy learnings and best practices, e.g. collected by 8D teams, into the DfX Body-of-Knowledge • Translate and qualify end-customer recommendations into DfX rules, guidelines and/or tools • Use learnings from pre-qualification vehicle to support BUs with their first products in new technology nodes • Actively deploy gained knowledge/experience and updates in the DfX Body-of-Knowledge in e.g. NXP webinars
Profiel:
• Strong technical background; Masters degree (MSc/PhD) in physics or electrical engineering. • Minimum of 10 years working experience as semiconductor Product- or Quality engineer. • Good knowledge on device/design, diffusion, assembly and test technology, preferably specific knowledge on the interactions between them. • Multiple years of experience in test and diagnosis and/or DfM • Strong statistical and analytical skills, well-practiced in processes like 8D, 3x5Y, Ishikawa, FMEA and alike. • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing. • Team worker, able to work in international and multi-disciplinary teams. • Strong quality mindset. • Driven, self-motivated and organized. • Eager to learn, open-minded, team oriented.
