Your new position
Your main responsibility is to provide a professional and comprehensive HR support to directors/managers in relation to people management and activities regarding the yearly HR cycle.
This means you have to ensure that the Human Resources function is a strong and proactive business partner, which is closely involved in all types of employment questions and delivers continually value and guidance in the business units.
You are accountable for facing the business with high-level HR expertise and hands on deliveries but furthermore an important role is to organize and lead the local HR function, as they are an imperative foundation for delivering an overall and complete HR service to the business.
In general, you need to enforce that Group and Local HR policies is well known and followed by the business and the managers. In addition, you need to ensure high standards of compliance with local employment legislation and directives. Finally, you need to support and implement new initiatives and projects and make sure that managers and employees acts accordingly.
Professionally speaking you will be handling employment matters from A-Z and the activities varies from day-to-day issues to long-term projects. The tasks includes - but is not limited to - HR Policies and Procedures, Compensation and Benefits, Employment law, Recruitment and On-boarding, Appraisals and Employee Engagement. You will manage 2 HR advisors in the Netherlands, 1 HR advisor in Germany and 2 HR administrative employees in Belgium. You will be responsible for HR in The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Germany. 


What do you need to be successful 
You have Bachelor/Master level within Human resources and/or 7-10 years of extensive experience with Human Resources in a global organisation. Knowledge within people management, employment law, recruitment and/or development is a plus. Knowledge about collective agreements and negotiations with unions or employee representatives is required. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and you will be taking initiatives with a hands-on approach. You are fluent in Dutch and English verbally as well as written and you have good leadership skills.
