Your new role
To support our clients growing business in the innovative and high-growth Life science markets and increase service levels to our customers, our client is currently looking for an Junior Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for predominantly visit and advise clients in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, maintain and increase the organizations Purification sales presence in the Dutch market, increase customer loyalty, identify and assess opportunities and follow up on (closed and new ) leads/projects.
Furthermore you will be building the organizations Purification brand by effective networking, have close cooperation with the technical service application specialists in order to reach specific technical solutions for customers, arrange and execute filter tests and trials and technical presentations/seminars, develop annual sales plan and work to achieve this with Target and Key accounts and submit regular reports on activities including quotes and call reports.
What you'll need to succeed
The perfect candidate has an Master Degree in the Bio-Engineering Sciences or a Master in Commercial Sciences. You have a min. of 2-5 years’ experience in a sales role, and experience in the Life Science Manufacturing Market, even experience in the pharmaceutical market (must). Also knowledge of the Filtration Market is an advantage, just like R&D process development.
You have commercial- and negotiating skills, networking, project management skills, analytical and problem solving skills, customer focused (fit to and affinity with ‘target group’), convincing abilities and an open and adaptable personality that fits into the organizations culture. Also you are able to speak fluent in both Dutch and English.
