Your new employer is an international leading company for infrastructure professionals. They supply company's with All-IP21 CN Networks, Datacenters, Solution Designs and Infrastructure Security.
Your new function
As LCE you are the low-level design authority for the in life architecture of the Customers network as well as any network transformational activity which can possibly happen in the future. As LCE you need to make rapid impact analysis (RIA) of all new applications and projects on existing infrastructure. Identify, design, and implement architectural improvements to ensure the business and technical objectives of the customer are met. Coordinate and carry out proof of concept and feature testing. Deliver operational detailed low level technical designs for new projects, assist operations in complex implementations and migrations and act as escalation point.
What do you need to be successful?
Ability to take ownership, lead, and drive for results and resolution. Also able to present complex and detailed solutions in an understandable way. which also contains the competence to translate standard documentation into detailed low level solutions.
May well operate on a multi-country, multi-product or multiple customer base. Excellent technical, interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to provide specialised technical support in one or more areas and to proactively share knowledge and learning with the virtual team.
Your CCNP/CCIE skills can help you understanding of how multi different products/services works under one umbrella and thorough understanding of routing protocols in complex environment including routing redistribution, failover and offload mechanisms. CCNP certification essential, CCIE desirable. Bachelor of informatics or equivalent is required.
What will be your tasks
Review high level design and translate the high level document into a detailed low level design and perform all required tasks (lab, prototype) to demonstrate the validity of the solution. You have to drive the implementation and assist regular technical meetings with the customers. During customers contact you will help them with troubleshooting, delivery and escalations. Assessing, planning and leading designs changes will also be a strongly developed competence. Support Solutions Assurance with consultancy if complex problems are found.
