Your tasks and responsibilities

As Operational Excellence Manager you design, lead and coordinate the implementation of the Operational Excellence (OE) Global Strategy, by establishing the support platform to generate the Continuous Improvement Culture across the Supply Chain. You are accountable for delivering strategic results from the application of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and effective change management, being co-responsible for delivering gross savings, quality improvements and added value to the customer. Since OE is new to the organization, the role is responsible to help the organization understand the holistic impact and potential of OE. • Direct and coordinate the definition of Global OE Strategy to foster the Continuous Improvement Culture from managers to operators aligned to LIFE values. • Define OE Master Plan as well as OE Training Program for all areas to assure a common language in all the division. • Implement TPM (Total Production Management) TQM (Total Quality Management) and TFM (Total Flow Management) in the different departments establishing the new working system across all the division levels. • Generate tools and processes to influence towards OE principles in suppliers processes. • Direct and coordinate identification, planning and execution of Lean •Six Sigma initiatives and projects, assuring timely and proper evaluation, reporting and diffusion of results (financials and non-financials); keeping high level priority for simplification and complexity reduction. Guarantee the Knowledge transfer globally. • Provide guidance, coaching and coordination to locals OE leaders to assure knowledge and usability of OE tools for all OE projects and initiatives. • Coordinate and align top level management to lead OE driven change effectively. • Align representation of BCS VS to Bayer. • Drive and coordinate the interactions with all divisions to ensure cross-divisional support and alignment. • Define and lead a team to provide the long term structure & sustainability of OE.

Who you are

You are a professional with: • Bachelor/Master degree in Business Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related science • Black Belt or Six Sigma certificated • 10+ years of experience delivering strategic results from OE concept • Proven expertise in applying improvement methodologies to deliver business process improvements • Proven experience in driving and influencing accountability in a matrix environment and across all job levels. • Clear understanding and ability to have a global and across departmental OE vision and define the strategy to achieve it • Strong affinity of all business processes • Project & Change management skills, analytical and conceptual thinking. • Training and Executive presentation skills. • Ability to negotiate and influence key personnel across multiple business units and geographies • Ability to lead discussions at executive leadership level Do you recognize yourself in the below competencies?
