● Responsible[MS1] for reticle layout of SPWs (single product wafer) and MPWs (multi product wafer) products to improve GDPW (gross die per wafer)
● Apply FMEA/8D to -pro-actively- improve Ampleon's tape-out flow to external semiconductor foundries (improve cycle time, first time right silicon etc.)
● Develop Process Design Kits (PDK); the PDK engineer participates to all implementation aspects of PDKs like: v Making technology set-up for design tools v Developing code for component layout generation v Developing verification files for design rules and layout versus schematic verification v Developing environment for parasitic extraction v Interfacing with other groups like design, technology, foundries, modeling, design flow in order to get all the technology data required for PDK development
● Qualify PDKs: the PDK engineer is responsible for the quality and reliability of the delivered PDKs.
