The Product Engineer contributes to the validation, qualification and characterization of new products in the Business Creation Process. Products are created in multifunctional project teams. The Product Engineer’s focus is on the spread of relevant product parameters and the consequences of this spread for the production process to reach optimal yields. Therefore the PE will act as liaison between the product line and the wafer, test and assembly fabs with respect to activities related to the Business Fulfillment Process. Typical activities are: - Assessment of critical parameters that influence the producibility of the products - Yield monitoring and yield improvement actions - Interface with industrial centers inside and/or subcontractors outside in front- and back end. - Cost reduction activities

Profiel:
• A minimum of higher professional education (HBO) in physics, electronics, or related fields. University level (Dutch WO) is a pre. • Experience with Product Engineering, yield improvement activities, Data analysis (Datapower usage), cost down activities. • Knowledge of 6 sigma way of working. Green Belt or Black Belt practisioner. • Knowledge of IC process technology, LDMOS processes preferred. • Experience with RF and Wireless communication techniques is a pre. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing. • Entrepreneurial attitude. • Enthusiastic team player.
