The Project Manager department is the link between the customer and the international organization and leads/manages the orders through the Seal Operations Roosendaal organization.
Your new role
In the role of project manager you are responsible for planning and coordinating customer contracts for seals and systems to different Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and end users. The challenge lies in managing a quantity of orders/contracts to the extent that the contracts not only meet the contractual obligations (from a commercial and technical perspective), but also support the financial goals, such as the financial shipment forecast and the financial contract budget.
What you'll need to succeed
To fur fill the position of project manager with success it is required to have a bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Business Administration. You have knowledge of the petrochemical industry. Besides that you speak fluent English (verbal and written) and you have excellent communication skills. A minimum of 3-5 years of working experience as a Project Manager, preferably in rotating equipment, pressure vessels and instrumentation is required.
What you'll get in return
You will be responsible for the financial risks confirm the project. This involves, executing projects on time according to contractual scope of supply, quality and within budget. It also involves responsibility for executing the project process in accordance with project planning, phase gates and defined quality levels. You will achieve cash flow targets of projects and coordinate correct documents handling in compliance with software requirements to customers. You will maintain proper relations with customer’s Purchasing, Expediting, Engineering and Inspection personnel to set a good and proper company image. Besides that you will participate in improvement programs, such as Six Sigma and lean Manufacturing.
