For there office in Rotterdam we are searching for a Prosals engineer

The Proposals Engineer works within the Proposals Management Department and is responsible for the proposals engineering work and other specified support required for the tendering activities. The Proposals Engineer reports directly to the Manager Proposals. While working on specific projects and proposals, he/she will also report to the respective Project Manager.

• Prepare detailed work plan for project tender in consultation with the Proposals Manager, including scope of work and specifications for procurement activities;
• Prepare and/or co-ordinate the preparation of all procedures necessary for the tender and ensure timely completion;
• Evaluate bid submissions from subcontractors and prepare evaluations for review by Manager Proposals and Proposals Manager;
• Perform assessment of workability in consultation with the Naval Department and in accordance with agreed procedures;
• Review technical submissions of design for technical suitability and co-ordinate design subcontractor activities during the tender phase;
• Review bid documents and prepare requests for clarifications;
• Prepare overall man-hour estimate based on discipline input;
• Decide on selection of technical qualifications and compile technical sections of bid proposals;
• Compile proposal back-up file.

• Civil, mechanical or nautical engineering degree or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the offshore industry;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Ability to work independently as well in a team;
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
• Willingness to travel.
