• Contribute and responsible for a wide range of ledger accounting and reconciliation topics for Corbion entities in EMEA • Specifically responsible for accounting of accruals, taxation , maintenance of daily journals and master data • Perform intercompany charges and confirmation of intercompany positions • Report financials in Company's reporting package • Responsible for quality of month and quarter end closing binders • Validate and accurately and transparently specify details to balance sheet and P&L accounts • Contribute to design and implementation of accounting procedures • Resolve accounting discrepancies • Responsible for calculation and declaration of VAT • Responsible for maintenance of authorization procedures in various applications according to company authorization matrix • Contribute to design and testing of Company's internal controls • Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits • Coaching colleagues in financial accounting matters
Profiel:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting Heao Accountancy SPD Qualifications and experience: • Approx. 5 years working experience in accounting • Strong knowledge of design, execute and verification of administrative processes • Preferably experience with production accounting • Strong affinity with IT (ERP) and good skilled with Microsoft office tools ( excel, word, access) Skills, knowledge and competencies • Strong knowledge of English and Dutch • Accurate and analytical and goal oriented • Develop and maintain financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems • No 9-to-5 mentality • Strong communicator • Team player Our client offers: • A key role in a growing and ambitious company with a great reputation • A diverse number of tasks in a complex accounting environment with EMEA accounting team located in 2 countries (Spain and Netherlands) • Wide responsibility with sufficient autonomy.
