The focus of this engineer will be our QFN types that will be produced by ASE Korea. As the responsible product engineer you will analyze the data on product and process level, and investigate the shifts on parametric level. When needed will drive or support 8D teams in case of issues. This activity will be in the scope of a transfer project and you will work together with your colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team. After the initial transfer and release of the test platform the production will expand and more types will be added to our portfolio.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Support product release in cluster: - identify product weaknesses - ensure manufacturability for new products • Participate 8D/CAT teams to solve issues in case of customer complaints, production problems or technology platform problems. • Helps to extend & develop knowledge on RF product manufacturing and provide expertise to development teams to guide new developments in this respect. • Supports the development and deployment of product engineering way of working within RF Power (CIP). • Apply lessons learned to the new development projects, close the loop from production/VQD-5 to product development. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • A minimum of higher professional education (HBO) in physics, electronics, or related fields. University level (Dutch WO) is a pre. • Knowledge of 6 sigma way of working. • Experience with Product Engineering, yield improvement activities, Data analysis (Datapower usage), cost down activities. PREFERRED SKILLS • Knowledge of IC process technology, LDMOS processes preferred. • Experience with RF and Wireless communication techniques is a pre. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing. • Entrepreneurial attitude. • Enthusiastic team player. • 8D methodology • Green Belt or Black Belt practitioner. ADDITIONAL NOTES The senior role is characterized by contributing significantly in the area of responsibility. Supporting to shape this area and bringing it to a higher plan.

We operate with great success in marketing, development and production of RF Power transistors for Base stations, Broadcast and Microwave applications. Our customers are the leading Asian as well as European and U.S. based companies, among others Huawei, NSN, E/// etc. In our market increasing RF power performance combined with higher energy efficiency and competitive cost structure are the demands for RF power solutions. The frequency range of our products are designed for range from 100 MHz up to 5 GHz with power levels from 10 to 2000 W.
