Position in the organization
The Serviceability and Availability Equipment Engineer (SAEE) will be member of the Technology & Development organization and functionally reports to the competence leader SAEE. You will be part of a multi-functional product development team.

Job mission
The Serviceability and Availability Equipment Engineer is responsible for all service aspects at every stage of the product lifecycle: You are responsible for getting the service requirements implemented into the early design stages of new products. E.g. Reliability, Availability,  plays a leading role in reducing service costs by design improvements and service improvements both for new and for volume products. You make the training, procedures etc. to introduce new products to the customer site. Primary focus are the Wafer Handler - products for ASML.

Job description
For the entire Wafer Handler (WH) product life cycle:
- Define the service requirements (MTBF, MTTR, MTBI, Spare part usage) and influence the designers so the design will meet these requirements
- Define and make the service documentation, spare part- and tooling-definition
- Introduce new product in the service organization incl. knowledge transfer to local service organizations
- Be the expert in analysis of complex problems at the customer site and drive problems to a good solution
- Analyze and report on WH product performance of all systems in the field
- Define opportunities for design improvements and other structural improvements of the installed base
- Leading role in minimizing operational service costs for volume products

Your profile
You have Technical University in: Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Optics / Physics, or related.
You have experience in a high-tech or automotive environment.

- Teamplayer with excellent communication- and writing skills in English
- Self-starter with a strong drive to solve customer problems in a timely way with short term and final solutions. Ability to steer the team of developers towards this
- Both analytical and practical skills, flexible attitude and commitment are key
- Occasional world wide travel can be required (max 20%)
