Your new company
Our client is a large international pharmaceutical company, that is specialized in the development and delivering of innovative medicines for patients with rare diseases. They are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager for their location in Brussels.
Your new role
In this role, your main tasks will be to create and implement 12-month marketing plan for products within range, create lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with KOLs & relevant stakeholders, produce marketing information for the Sales Force and you need to ensure copy complies with company processes and ABPI/CGR Code of Practice. Also you will conduct market research in conjunction with Market Research Partner to provide necessary information when formulating and executing plans, research and anticipate external factors affecting the products and produce local forecasts to feed into international forecasting process.
Furthermore, you need to communicate effectively with the sales team to ensure implementation of the product strategy, collaborate with all relevant Global & Regional Rare Disease Business Unit responsible to ensure implementation of Global Marketing strategies into local Marketing plans, brief and monitor agencies to ensure integrated marketing communications strategy is reflected in all activities, monitor effectiveness of promotion against agreed objectives, manage promotional budgets, carry out other related tasks as required by the Business Unit Director, undertake own development plan to ensure to meet the challenges of the current role and to allow progression within the organization.
What you'll need to succeed
The perfect candidate is preferably educated to degree level, ideally with a life science background. You have experience with Product marketing in hospital product(s), with strong preference for rare diseases areas. You have proven capabilities and experience of project management, you are an self-starter, able to complete tasks and manage to deadlines and you have excellent communication/influencing skills. Also you are currently living, or willing to move to, Belgium.
