Our client is an innovative organization in the medical devices industry. Their business is growing and they are recruiting a Supply Chain Analyst to join the EMEA office.
Your new role
As Supply Chain Analyst you have a highly visible supply chain role that oversees Supply management processes. You have a key position in the international supply chain organization responsible for developing and executing supply and inventory plans that will enable the organization to meet service and sales objectives. TO achieve these objectives you will collaborate with other members of the supply chain, marketing, sales and customer support teams.
Tasks and responsibilities
Recommend adjustments to inventory targets based on changes in market and demand trends;
Monitoring SKU levels and recommending SKU rationalization initiatives in the future (ABC, MTO/MTS, ROP); Establishing and utilizing best methods (models and software tools) in creating inventory targets;
Managing inventory targets that are approved by management;
Maintaining inventories, developing the supply plan to reduce out of stocks across the supply chain network; Responsible for overall master data maintenance in systems associated with supply planning to ensure system is effectively planning future requirements;
Assessing purchasing options and analyzing cost reduction opportunities to optimize total spend;
Taking part in projects and assignments as requested;
Developing performance reports and distributing them to stakeholders;
Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities and proposals.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelors or Master’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in inventory management and/or planning position;
Strong statistical, analytical and problem solving ability and you are able to translate sets of data into management information;
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities;
Proficient and accurate with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Advanced Excel skills and preferably SQL;
Fluency in English is a must.
