For the RF power quality team we are looking for a (principal) wafer level reliability engineer to support technology qualifications (both GaN and LDMOS technology releases) and driving the release on wafer level aspects. The WLR Engineer is responsible for: Assessment and characterization of failure mechanisms for GaN and LDMOS new technology generation (e.g. for TDDB, EM, N/PBTI and HCI failure mechanisms). Implementing intrinsic reliability in new packages and process developments. Executing a thorough risk-analysis on the development of complex process/ package concepts based on FMEA analysis, knowledge of structural similarity rules and applicable quality specifications and translate this to a qualification strategy. Analyzing and conclude on failures in reliability testing in cooperation with failure & material analysis. Develops the associated project management plan, monitor, control and report on project activities and quality. For these activities you will work together with your colleagues in a multi-disciplinary project team(s).
Profiel:
• Recognized specialist on wafer level reliability for RF power. • Actively seeks reliability requirements for technologies to be developed by RF power based on (future) customer requirements and translates these requirements in verifiable WLR requirements. • Perform Wafer Lever reliability characterization to support the technology developments. • Builds in-depth knowledge of potential failure mechanisms for new technologies and makes the information accessible for engineers to enable them to proactively prevent reliability problems. • Performs quality judgment of production processes at and in cooperation with suppliers (external wafer foundries), advises for necessary adjustments and/or qualifies processes for supply to RF Power. • Is a member of the technology platform development teams to provide leadership for the qualification of the technology; also provides support on quality engineering to (senior) quality engineers to enable them to qualify products using the technology platform. • Initiates and participates in improvement actions based on process performance data in order to implement effective corrective actions and prevent recurrence. • Represents the RF power in discussions about WLR aspects of new technologies with external wafer foundries to ensure quality requirements are met. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor/masters degree; Physics, Electronics or Chemistry • Knowledge of diffusion process technologies (LDMOS and GaN) • Knowledge of IC reliability and IC technology • Expert knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, 6-Sigma, DoE, SPC, etc) PREFERRED SKILLS • Analytical thinker, problem solver • Data analysis and reporting. • Hands on experiences WLR testing. • Good organizational skills, high level of independence • Team worker with good communication skills in English. • Strong in communication, interaction, presentation and reporting. • Enthusiastic team leadership.
