Your new role
The ZTE key account manager will be working with internal marketing and technical resources teams and responsible for overall ZTE account sales activities including demand creation, project planning, sales forecast, and supply chain relationship management with ZTE ~ as one the most important and highly visible leading customer in China.

You will report directly to the ZTE Global Key Account Director, and will engage closely with internally overall leadership team of MBB BU, marketing team, technical support team, and Sales Operation/supply chain, as critical partner in sales management, planning and supply chain, in order to ensure a holistic go-to-market approach and the relationship management with ZTE sourcing and BU planning organization overall. You will thus take accountability for the overall sales, business planning / forecasting, and drive internal organization for a smooth order execution.

You will work closely with planning/OFC/CSC team ensuring a smooth and timely delivery to ZTE. In that sense you are the business owner for ZTE and should consider yourself a true partner and responsible for the successful business relationship. You interact intensively with the overall organization in order to optimize the engagement with ZTE on all levels.

Major Responsibilities
  • Overall account responsibility for ZTE account sales, forecast, and order execution;
  • Engaging with ZTE Wireless BU, Kangxun organization and other related org. at all levels and coordinating the consistent and aligned approach to ensure a successful interaction and aligned approach;
  • Enhance and drive Ampleon ZTE strategy to maximize sales that result in sustainable market share growth to reach targeted 60%.
  • With internal resources ( CMM, KAD, MBB BU Market Intelligence) jointly analyzes current and future market development, ZTE account likely trends and come up proper monthly / quarterly planning / forecasting;
  • Support marketing team on market intelligence and manage monthly / quarterly forecast / planning process aligned with ZTE;
  • Leading internal supporting functions ( CSC, planning, supply chain) for a smooth and on time orders execution;
  • As Ampleon ambassador for ZTE planning and sourcing organization, and meet their specific needs by ensuring commitment and support at all levels for serving the customer;
  • Sharing best practices with other parts of the organization and other accounts in order to ensure a continuous development of personnel inside the own organization but also in the overall sales organization and account development for Ampleon.

What you'll need to succeed
  • The ideal candidate will be an experienced and seasoned sales professional in China with a successful track record in complex sales environments supported by deep planning and supply chain knowledge, strong key account management, and proven team leadership skills.
  • Establishing and active relationships at all levels within ZTE;
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in semiconductors / component industries, in particular selling to telecom. OEMs in China.
  • You will have an international background, cultural savvy and know-how to conduct business effectively on the ground, in China, across globally.
  • A degree in related major, preferably electronic technology related. Candidates should have solid understanding of telecom / ICT industry, to be able to gain rapid acceptance by the demanding customer.
  • Excellent communication skills is a MUST, including strong presentation and writing skills in both Mandarin and English.
  • The successful professional will be a highly driven, results-oriented professional with an open and collaborative style and approach.

  • Proven ability to see the big picture and translate strategy to pragmatic plans and results.
